We're Going Smooth This Week! (Smoothies that is! Fast, healthy, easy smoothies for YOU!)

Alex is fussy about what I eat. I'm not complaining. First of all, she's just looking out for me––and she's a great cook!

On any given day she'll catch me running out the door to try and squeeze in nine holes or something. She yells, "Hey! Did you eat something!"

That's sometimes a loaded question because it means she's putting something together––and I'm going to have to wait. So I'll yell back, "I'll grab a smoothie or something!"

"NO!" Not that she's got anything against smoothies. Quite the opposite as you'll see in a minute. She just knows that canned smoothies are usually full of extra sugar, sodium and preservatives.

In this video…

Alex shares her favorite fresh smoothie recipes and show us how to make 'em fast in her Nutri-Ninja. I got her that thing a couple of years ago and it's great. She'll also show how she pre-packages ingredients so all she has to do is drop the stuff in the Ninja and I'm out the door.

By the way, not only is Alex a great cook, but she's one of the best personal trainers in the business! She makes smoothies for herself for before or after workouts or when she's teaching her exercise classes.

Really on the run?

Alex found a great, healthy alternative to those supermarket smoothies! Smoothie Box packages natural and organic ingredients in great tasting blends and ships them direct. All you do is pop 'em in your blender with water, almond milk or yogurt and you've got a healthy smoothie in seconds.

Like I said, I got Alex a Ninja a couple of years ago. It's powerful enough to handle any fresh ingredients. The best thing is you blend your stuff right in the to-go-cup so there's no big clean up. You literally blend, pop on the lid and go.

After using the Ninja for the past couple of years, we give it a big Hell Yeah!!!
